4) Required documents

The candidates for the POWER Och!DOK projects shall provide the following documents, before the application
deadline, to the Human Resources/ Doctoral Studies Secretary office:
a. Candidate’s application to participate in the POWER Och!DOK project, including the contact e-mail address
(all recruitment information will be sent to the contact e-mail address) and telephone number available
between 9:00 and 14:00.
b. Cover letter, including the brief information regarding the scientific interests of the candidate and
explaining the motivation behind the application to the project
c. Draft of the planned scientific research (max. 1800 letters)
d. Confirmation of the admittance of the candidate as the student of the first year of doctoral studies – refers
to the new students,
e. Confirmation of the participation in the PhD studies in the any of the Institutes of the Consortium for the
POWER Och!DOK project and the confirmation that the Candidate was accepted to participate in the 3rd
phase of the recruitment for the project – refers only to PhD students, who continue their studies

Second Summer School - From laboratory to industry

The second Summer School "From laboratory to industry" is planned in 2020, from 16th to 18th.

According to the POWER Och!DOK Rules, all of Och!DOK PhD Students need to participate in Summer Schools.
The summer school will take the form of a scientific conference. During it, all participants will listen to lectures, conducted on-line, and during a poster session, students will present the results of their PhDs.
The Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering PAS is the organizer of the nearest Summer School.
The poster session will take place in the exhibition hall of the IBIB PAN building, on the ground floor.
The Program Council of the project decided that Students who joined the program in April can present on their posters the conclusions of the literature review, which will the basis for the research hypothesis formulating.


Poster Preparation:
• All posters should be in portrait format and minimum size 95 cm height and 65 cm width or up to A0 format (119 cm height and 84 cm width). The poster should be readable easily at a distance of 2 meters.
• Posters should contain information about the POWER Och! DOK Project (templates and logos can be downloaded in the "documents" tab)

 Schedule the Second Summer School - From laboratory to industry

Participation in the summer school is part of a semester report but does not exempt from submitting a written report.
Absences during the summer school will be taken into account individually by the Program Council at the request of the student to the SD Manager.

Additional Recruitment for doctoral studies 

The following documents are necessary to apply:
1) Diploma certificate (or a confirmation of the date of the thesis defense from the deanery if the defense will be held after the recruitment and before 15th of September 2018)
2) Application comprising contact information (postal address, email address, phone number)
3) Reference letter from a research fellow with a doctoral or professors degree

Applications will be admitted until 3th of September 2018.
