 Description of research conducted in the Laboratory:

Laboratory for Biomedical Optics is looking for an ambitious and talented PhD student to join our research team, which is focused on non-invasive measurements of brain cortex oxidation. We offer the opportunity to work in a professional, dynamic and interdisciplinary research team and to develop your skills in the field of biomedical engineering and optics.

We offer:

  • Employment within the NCBiR project concerning research on blood flow and oxygenation of the brain in military pilots

A candidate for the position of Senior Researcher Assistent should meet the following requirements:

A. Education:

Completed studies in the field of electronics, physics, computer science or related specialties

B. Scientific/professional achievements:

Publications will be eligible but not obligated.

C. Experience:

  • Initial laboratory work experience and conducting scientific research
  • Knowledge of optoelectronics, measurement techniques and laser physics is welcome
  • Analytical skills and programming abilities in languages such as Matlab, Python, C#, LabView

D. Additional requirements:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Motivation to work in scientific research and develop your own skills
  • Knowledge of English at a level that allows you to read and understand scientific literature.
