We would like to invite you on scientific seminar.

Mgr Nikodem Hryniewicz from CNS lab will speak about "Simultaneous EEG–fMRI - method and applications".
The seminar will take place in Morecki's Hall, Tuesday, March 13th at 12.

Simultaneous EEG-fMRI is a combination of two complementary brain activity measuring methods. This combination takes advantage of high spatial resolution of fMRI and high temporal resolution of EEG. However, alternating magnetic field of MR scanner leads to artifacts in the EEG signal. These artifacts have to be removed in order to analyse the EEG signal. What are the advantages of applying EEG and fMRI simultaneously? What are the technical challenges related to this method? What equipment do we have in CNSLab and what we may offer?
